About the Author

As a child, Carol’s favorite fairy tales starred a beautiful princess…and as she grew up, Mills & Boon stories fitted the bill in her search for a prince. It was a natural progression to writing about her own heroines, who evolved into bright young women healing the sick and helping the distressed. In reality, the professional G.P.s she admires so much are the perfect role models for her heroes. So from scribbling on the back of floppy textbooks, she bought a computer and put down all her observations on floppy disks. She writes in an upstairs room overlooking treetops. Theater and movies come second only to reading. And most of all she believes in the curative power of love — which is why she writes for Mills & Boon, in order to share that belief with her readers.
