Lady Raine
"I THINK YOU'RE UP TO YOUR ARISTOCRATIC LITTLE NECK IN SOMETHING SHADY. "

Captain Quentin Slade struck a most unusual bargain with a lady who called herself "Mrs. Cavanaugh."

The terms were generous and his instructions were simple. Slade would sail his ship from Macao to San Francisco. "Mrs. Cavanaugh" would provide the cargo. But, she would not tell the American what that cargo was.

Nevertheless, this woman intrigued him and as he had his own good reasons for leaving
Macao, Slade would sign on.

He knew it was going to be anything but smooth sailing.
