It is about a bright little lion-cub called Chubby who, instead of practicing his roar like his Daddy, prefers to go wandering off discovering the far more interesting things that other animals get up to, causing his parents no end of annoyance. In the end Chubby, with the help of his Hippo friend, Mafuta, surprises everyone.
