Jimmy Roberts' favorite sport to watch is Robot Races, where drivers and their high-tech robot vehicles compete. When the races' founder announces a special version of the competition just for children, Jimmy can't wait to sign up. However, he can't afford his own robot. Thankfully his grandpa has a few surprises for him, and soon Jimmy is off on the adventure of a lifetime.
