2 1/2 stars.
John Wells, CIA operative is called back to Langley. He's told that two men who were part of a ten-member interrogation unit working out of a secret location in Poland called the Midnight House, have been murdered. The interrogators were known to use the harshest treatment on the toughest jihadis, to get the information they possessed.

Now, someone is killing the members of the unit and Wells is asked to go undercover, find out who it is, find out why and to stop them.

There is good action here but the author must have felt that the reader had read the prior John Wells books because there is little character development. Hence, the characters come across as one dementional and uninteresting.
