Rather than be found an office post during her convalescence after injuring her foot, Sister Pippa Manson was more than happy to accept her cousin Nicole's offer to work at the hospital on Ceres Island, Greece. Nicole and her surgeon husband Alexander were spending six months in the States, which meant they both needed replacements. Unfortunately Dr. Adonis Patras, taking Alexander's pace, was not nearly so sympathetic to Pippa's physical problems, sure she would be unable to cope. Could they arrive at a compromise?
