Murder on the Swim Team and Other AZ Tales — Linda Cargill

Francie must figure out which member of her swim team has it in for her. If she doesn't, she might not make it through the next meet. Joanne finds a skull on top of Mt. Lemmon during her school picnic. But the voice that warns her not to tell anyone else about it means business. Tess can't stand her parents' move from Los Angeles to Tucson so her father can study coyotes up close, but she finds out that the coyotes want to study her. Karla is amazed at how different Arizona looks than her home back in Virginia yet never more so than when someone rolls boulders down the hill at her in Texas Canyon. CR doesn't remember her name, but someone else remembers her. They stalk her all the way to Hole, Arizona. While standing at her school locker, Diana becomes aware of a boy staring at her. Someone else tells her he's just out of jail on charges of murdering his last girlfriend. All these heroines have one problem in common. They all find themselves in Arizona, and Arizona is a pretty spooky place.
