When a herd of allotment cattle is stolen, it is Marshal John Bryan's job to recover them. In his search he unravels the mystery of how they were stolen, why and by whom. By the time the marshal and his friends meet at EL CANTINA for a drink, he has managed to fill his jailhouse and resolve two murders.
