After almost two decades as an Agent with the U.S. Border Patrol, Bob Heath's talent with a gun catapults him into the FBI, without the support of its management. Nearly twenty years older than most of his peers, Heath is determined to prove he's up to the job. He implements a plan to infiltrate an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang but his plan quickly deteriorates and his cover is blown. Not only do the bikers arrange a fitting farewell but also set him up for a crime he didn't commit-opening the door for the Bureau to fire him. His partner, Jimmie, a charismatic and connected FBI Agent nearing retirement and Sherry, a woman who's in love with him, are the only people who haven't abandoned him. While Jimmie's working a case indicating corruption within the FBI, he disappears. Saving Jimmie will not only require Heath's skill with a gun but he will also have to choose between his sworn oath to the FBI and his loyalty to Jimmie as finding him will require Heath to join forces with the same outlaw bikers who beat him and ruined his career.
