VAST IN SCOPE and daring in action, this original story takes the reader far away from conventional norms into a world of motorcycle adventure, secret societies dedicated to keeping the real message of Jesus alive in the face of continual attack from the Catholic Church and into the life of a man suffering from Asperger's Syndrome. Written in the post-Holy Blood, Holy Grail world where The Da Vinci Code has established a new genre, Cathedral of Truth goes deeper into other aspects of the Jesus' offspring, His primary thrust of his ministry to gather his the lost flocks of the House of Israel and the Gospel of Thomas, discovered in 1945 and said to be the identical twin brother of Jesus. It is far from an academic work yet not a spy novel or traditional adventure story; it is a new genre where esoteric yet purposefully hidden religious history is brought to light in an engaging and unforgettable manner. Rolland Hellmantle, freelance computer writer based in Hong Kong, finds himself drawn into a journey to find a Dutch minister living in the Philippines who has information concerning a buried map at a French prison in North Vietnam. Hellmantle's grandfather, a French Legionnaire and researcher in family history and the legends of the Blonde Acquitaine, buried a map said to shown the whereabouts of buried scrolls written by Jesus and Thomas in Kashmir Valley. Hellmantle, suffering from a trauma involving the death of his identical twin brother and his father, has gone further into the depths of extremism, spending days and weeks in his home on Lamma Island in Hong Kong reading history books and others research papers, letting the daily needs of living fall by the wayside, including his freelance magazine work. In an effort to help him return to some semblance of normalcy and safety, his cousin D'Aqs Grosseteste accompanies him during his motorcycle trip exploring the northern Island of Luzon in an effort to find a Dutchman preaching in a church with a rouge bell tower.
