HOUSE OF STRANGERS

Virginia Villars arrives at Villa des Aigles in Provence to meet Germaine de Lally, her father's future wife. Virginia is shocked to discover her father injured, the victim of an automobile accident.

Gradually Virginia becomes aware of an undercurrent of fear and hostility among Germaine's family. She wonders if her father's accident wasn't something more sinister.

Suddenly, Virginia herself becomes the victim of a series of accidents and her fears are confirmed. Everyone in the ancient villa has reason to want Virginia and her father out of the way, especially Paul, Germaine's brother. He is also the man Virginia has come to love.

Virginia is trapped -- unable to flee, yet unable to remain in the sinister house.
