Sonny Monroe was just minding her own business in Middleton, Wisconsin, when she got the call from Hollywood inviting her to become the fifth cast member of So Random! the popular tween comedy show. Turns out the producers spotted a funny Web video Sonny had done. Her life suddenly went from that of a normal teenage girl in the Midwest to the hectic existence of a show-business performer on national television. She brings her optimism and cheerful Sonny-ness to the set and becomes good friends with her fellow cast members: Tawni, Nico, Grady and Zora.
