Europe and Asia during the 2nd century after Christ was dominated by two powerful cultures; the Romans around the Mediterranean Sea and the Chinese to the Far East. The Mongols on the open steppe of Mongolia were developing their skills using their powerful composite horn bows while on horseback. Their invention of the stirrups and the gait of their tiny ponies gave them a stable shooting platform while at a full gallop. MYK is the son of Lech and Slava, enlightened leaders, from the old Celtic tribes. Viking raiders force Lech to move his village and people deep into the interior of what is now Poland along the Vistula River where they build a new village along a tributary on land they bought from a local chieftain.Roman explorers cross the Rhine River and encounter a Mongol group of explorers moving from the east. A violent battle takes place and only a few from each group survive and are taken in by the Vends.The huge influx of modern technology rapidly turns the small Vend village into a power center. The Roman leader shows the Vends engineering techniques and how to make defensive weapons.
