James Rollins, New York Times bestselling author of the Sigma Force series said this about Book 1 of the Doublesight series:
"Lately fantasy rarely surprises and seldom delights, but Terry Persun's novel DOUBLESIGHT does both and more. Richly textural, complicated in character, and presenting a world unlike any other, this debut imbues new blood into the genre. It is a stunning fantasy for the new millennium."

Janet Lee Carey, bestselling author of Dragonswood said this about Book 1 of the Doublesight series:
"Persun's captivating new fantasy raises the art of shape shifting to a new level. Enter the world of Doublesight where man and animal are one. A fresh adventure awaits!"

BOOK DESCRIPTION: A battle is emerging between the doublesight and the humans. As the two armies build their strength, the bear clan visits the doublesight's council grounds hoping to help. When their attempt is thwarted, they must decide on a new plan.

Zimp and Lankor head for memory tower while being chased by the harpies, and warriors from Castle Weilk. As they travel, their romance grows into something stronger than either of them had realized. In the mean time, King Belford struggles to gain control of his armies so that he can destroy as many doublesight as possible.

Memory tower has a lot more to teach the doublesight than they can even comprehend. What is inside this strange tower? Why are the gargoyle statues crumbling? What does any of it mean for the doublesight? Zimp and Lankor meet with the rest of the doublesight army only to find that there are growing disagreements between members. With internal turmoil, the doublesight still believe they have no choice than to fight for their freedom and the freedom of the rest of their kind.

Through multiple points of view, MEMORY TOWER keeps the reader engaged, curious, and eventually surprised.

For fans of fantasy fiction, fantasy novels with shape shifters and based on Native American totems, animal totems, and other shape shifting totems, such as dragons, crows, thylacines, bears, snakes, horses, gargoyles, harpies, harpys, gryphons, part lion, part eagle. Fantasy novels that are a mystery, suspense, or thriller. Similar to novels with werewolves, these are were-animals like werehorses, weresnakes, werecrows, weredragons, and that sort of thing. There is a war involved, too, where the shape shifters, including dragons, crows, horses, and bears fight against the humans. This is similar to a historic novel for The Great Land, where the book takes place. It's also very much a sword and sorcery novel, where the shape shifters and humans battle in a battlefield where swords are used. The sorcery is mostly in the way of predictions, shamanism, shamans, and other occult happenings done by the dragons, crows, horses, snakes, and other shape shifters. Omens and dreams are also very important in the novel. After all, the crows are psychic and intuitive and can see into other worlds using altered states of consciousness. The main character uses her shamanic abilities, including runes, divination elements, intuition, visions, dreams, etc., to find signs and signatures of what's to come.
