“It's a proposal -- I think. “I've never proposed to a girl before.”
Happiness bubbled up in her. “Oh, Jack!”
Through the tumultuous pounding of her heart, through her breathless, excited laughter, she heard the soft fall of Hank Taylor's footsteps going away from them…
