I'll Never Forget You — Charles Uribe

Saiko is a supermodel who comes from a wealthy Japanese family. She meets an American GI, they fall in love and plan to marry. She is supposed to call him the day before they are to marry to let him know where she will meet him. Her family learns about the plan and remove her from her modeling job and take her home. She doesn't get a chance to call him, and he's left waiting for the call that never comes.
