They woke up one morning to discover that their entire world had been turned upside down. His job was gone and their community was gone. They feared the absolute desolation had engulfed the entire nation and for all they knew, this was the end of the world.

They have no electricity and no water. It's winter and they have no heat. Overwhelmed physically and emotionally, they decide to journal the events that might inevitably lead to their demise.

Note: Unlike typical post-apocalyptic "we're all going to survive but it will be hard" fiction, EOTW Diary is a raw, accurate depiction of what the aftermath of an end of the world type situation might really be like. As such, some readers may find certain portions disturbing. This is definite reading material for any prepper who thinks they are on the right track with their plans to survive.

Updated to the Special Edition
In the original story, a character disappears and he (or she) starts writing their own diary. In this edition, the two diaries have been merged for easier reading.

Format Information
EOTW Diary was the first full length novel posted on Twitter in real-time. The novel is written in the format of a diary. Diary entries in Tweet format were posted from December 1, 2011 through November 18th, 2012. Twitter posts are limited in size, consequently, you may find that some words and sentences have been shortened to fit the restrictions.

Each short message is an individual diary post. There might be an hour or two between entries. Some diary entries were made more often and there are times when many hours might pass between entries. As time passed for the characters in the novel, they would make entries in their diary and those entries were posted in real-time to create a realistic experience for the readers.

Great care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this archive of original Twitter posts.
Remember, this is a diary written on Twitter and as such may contain some spelling and grammar anomalies, intentional or in haste.
