With over seven hundred soldier suicides in two years and an average of a dozen veteran suicides every day despite leaders best efforts to address this critical problem, it is obvious that something is terribly wrong. The blood of those innocents who sacrificed everything for the protection of our country screams injustice and demands action. While experts continue to speculate the root causes of this outrageous suicide count, only the symptoms are addressed and the real problems remain ignored. As a veteran who personally struggled with suicide in the military, the cousin of a soldier who did take her own life, and the friend of veterans who presently struggle with suicide, not only am I uniquely qualified to speak out on this issue but I have made it my mission. In lieu of my dedication and direction I am pledging ALL profits from this book towards establishing a much needed, unique, nonprofit rehab and refuge for veterans. Thank you for your support.
