To be fair, Derrick wasn't technically my boss when we first met.

He was just another average Joe who had a habit of turning my stomach into knots.

The real problem started when we ran into each other during my interview and he made the mistake of telling me he didn't date employees.

I was already attracted to the tall, dark, and handsome he was sporting, but now it's like he placed a giant piece of chocolate cake in front of me and told me not to touch it.
