Adaire Winfield — Multiple Authors

Reluctant relic hunter Adaire Winfield searches the globe for items of power, cleaning up magical messes and collecting these artifacts for the Seal of Solomon. It's a pretty decent gig, with lots of all-expense-paid trips around the world. The downside is that he has to deal with a lot of nasty consequences: angry super-powerful beings, innocent people being turned into fish, or simple folks who don't understand the repercussions of using magical relics.
