A Matter of Faith — James A. Rozhon

Jack Collins has become disillusioned as a PI and wants to quit the field. He is sitting in front of his office when a confrontation with his wife sends him into a public park at one o'clock in the morning. He finds a child, Patrick O'Leary, contemplating something far worse than anything Jack Collins could devise for himself. Resolving Patrick's problem will change Jack's life and start a new chapter in it.
