Doctor Philippa — Sheila Douglas

Senior surgeon Stephen Crosland was not impressed to find that an unimportant house physician was in charge when his sister was admitted to St. Margaret's Hospital as an emergency. But he seemed to change his mind about Dr. Philippa Grant when he later asked her to help in the girl's treatment.

Philippa was appalled at the surgeon's high-handed way with his sister, and vowed that she was not going to be pushed around by this overbearing sort of a man. If only he wasn't so tall, and attractive and charming to boot!
