A Mother's Boy's Story — Richard Hough

We all have a mother and we all have different relationships with our own. The anti-hero of this story has a mother whose unbending will leads him into a series of misadventures and a lifetime (or more accurately a lunchtime) of crime. The twists and turns of such a life lead to moments of great tragedy but only after a catalogue of comedic incidents. The greatest wonder of this book is how such an uncontrollable child ever survived long enough to write it.
