It's been several months since the Hendra incident. Academy life has returned to normal.

Normal won't last. A new group is forming on campus. Isolationists and racists, they start targeting anyone who doesn't ‘fit'. Which includes Axira.

That isn't her only problem. There's a visiting scientist researching subspace fields. One she recognises â€" a foot soldier of her master.
