An ominous phone call in the middle of the night sends Zaida Charles to the crumbling seaside town that had been her childhood home. Her father, renowned jazz musician and lounge owner, was dead. It’s assumed that Zaida will take over his share of the lounge, but she’s on the fence about it. She’s suffocating under mountains of work at her day job and knows she needs to return to work. However, she finds herself drawn into this late night, jazz lounge world, intrigued by Tony’s current business partner, Danielle, a woman with a peculiar background who Zaida warms to immediately. The two find a rhythm together at the club, amidst the chaos of work, business, and school that only breaks when they find part of a dead body in Tony’s closet.
