The Corpse on the Dike — Janwillem Van De Wetering

Rarely did Grijpstra and de Gier encounter the sight that awaited them in the hovel on the dike: the body of a man with a bullet hole right between the eyes. Handguns are illegal in Holland--only a professional could have fired that shot. And why had the deceased housed priceless antiques and a flashy car in a shack on the water?
