Ann MacLeod is about to embark on a new chapter in her life. Newly divorced and celebrating her fiftieth birthday, she decides to spend a weekend alone, doing nothing wilder than a little shopping. Fate, however, takes matters out of her hands and shows the cautious Ann that life should be experienced, not just lived, and fifty is a good age to walk a little on the wild side. When young, handsome guitarist David Abrams sees the elegant, reserved woman stroll into the pub where he plays, he's instantly captivated.
