Bride for Samuel — Amelia C. Adams

Beth James, daughter of Reverend James of Ottawa, suddenly finds herself alone in the world when her father is taken ill and passes away. With very little choice and even fewer resources, she decides to take up Miss Hazel Hughes on her offer. She will travel far away from home to marry a Mountie in a place she's never seen before--Cougar Springs.

Samuel Murray knows little about marriage--he just knows that two of his siblings have been matched by Miss Hazel, and they seem very happy.
