If Witches We Be

A Valkerie is sent to earth to counter the threat posed by an ambitious Scottish woman who has the ancient codes necessary to summon the legions of hell. Sigrun Morgrun is smaller in stature than most Valkerie and is deemed perfect for the job. She infiltrates the household of Alella Aboyne and marries her son, producing four daughters. These daughters, 16-year-old twins, a ten-year-old and a precocious six-year-old, are half-mortal, and can help their mother lead the fight to save earth. They flee, and attempt to hide to give the heroes of Valhalla time to organize a defense against the hordes of the netherworld. The pitched showdown combines the heroes, the Valkerie, the Atlanta Braves baseball team and Sigrun and the children against an infinite number of fiends. The labor dispute between the warriors and the Lord God Odin that follows threatens to be serious, until arbitrated by the most beautiful woman in all the worlds.
