I was about to give up on this author after reading so many of her dissapointments lately. This seemed like the old Nora Roberts in which there was great suspense. The reader didn't know what was going to happen at any given point. On top of that, the characters were terrific. They were the icing on the cake. Write these type again Nora and you will be going forever.
