In her third book in the Bodine Family series, Perry concentrates on Adam, Georgia's brother. Adam had something rough happen to him when he was stationed in Florida, and it still hauts him. He hasn't told anybody about it...

But he's managed to locate his Uncle Ned. When he arrives, it's Ned's Step granddaughter that meets him, and she is very protective of both her grandfather and her son. Adam falls head over hills for her six year old son, and the son falls for him. Cathy worries that her son will be heart-broken when they return home after visiting the island.

The best story of all is Jackie's story. Jackie has a condition in his hips that keeps him from walking normally, and he needs an operation...

That's all I'm going to say. This is a very good book. I especially enjoyed the scene where Adam tells Cathy he WILL be there with her at the doctor...

A great ending to this series, though I did enjoy the second book the most.
