In this book, we meet a "new" member of the Flanagan family: Fiona. She has moved to an Amish community to set up her mid-wife practice. She meets a good-looking cop who has some surprises about his past. She also gets involved with the Amish. I enjoyed learning about the Amish and their ways. I enjoyed reading the various levels of forgiveness and acceptance in this book as well.

This is definitely a stand-alone book. You don't have to read the others to understand and enjoy this one. There is a small mystery - just enough to keep you guessing what the outcome is going to be. The ending is very sweet!
