Lynn Kurland

Lynn Kurland grew up in Hawaii, which was a perfect environment for her to hone her storytelling skills. As a child, she wrote a series of illustrated novellas called Clinton's Troubles. Her childhood writing took a break for training in classical music. Kurland stayed a voracious reader throughout high school, but in college when she stumbled upon some romance novels, her path changed.

Kurland's writing blends fantasy and romance, two of her favorite genres. She is well known for her Nine Kingdoms, de Piaget Family and MacLeod Family series. Her books have been on the New York Times, USA Today and Amazon Top 100 best-seller lists to name a few. Kurland's next book in the de Piaget Family series will be released in April 2012.
