Michelle:
We'll call this the seventh book in the series, though it's the first in a new series. This book picks up where the last book in "Tiny Blessings" left off. In this book, the focus is on Miranda and her mysterious story that was introduced in earlier books. Miranda has an adorable seven year old son whom she gained custody of after her sister and brother-in-law died. She is now his mother. Only, Miranda has other issues, one she's running away from and she'll keep running to protect Danny!
Andrew was also introduced in the first series. He is a member of the rich family introduced in book two (Rachel's cousin). Andrew has a secret job nobody knows about and it's his true passion. He's not who everybody thinks he is!
The romance in this book was pure. The mystery was intense. I found that I did not want to put this book down, and in fact kept reading until it was done. This book left me wanting to read the next so I can unlock another mystery to this on-going story.
Andrew was a sweetie, though I hate the fact that men always have to use pretense before they break bad news to a person. He made me mad when he romanced her with lobster and roses and then broke the news to her! But I'm glad Miranda forgave him because he was a really nice man in spite of himself!
