Katherine Sutcliffe

After starting out as a headhunter at a computer company, Katherine Sutcliffe decided to quit her job and write a novel. A couple years later, she sold her first novel Desire and Surrender to Avon Books. Her novels have become best-sellers including Notorious, a historical romance, which sold out its first printing in four days. Sutcliffe has also received many awards including Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Storyteller of the Year.

Between 1995 and 1996, Sutcliffe worked as the Consultant Head Writer for As the World Turns and Another World. She made a cameo on Another World playing herself. Sutcliffe ended up resigning because the network insisted she move to New York. She lives in Texas with her husband, three children and their horses.
