JoAnn Ross

Joann Ross wrote her first novella – a tragic tale of star-crossed ducks – at the tender age of seven. Spurred on by the receipt of a gold star for her work by her second grade teacher, Joann kept writing. Although her fantasies for the writer’s life including Greenwich Village garrets and the great American novel, her reality was quite different. She wrote advertising copy and newspaper articles but longed to write fiction. She took up her pen and has now written over 90 novels. She has won several awards for her romance writing.

Joann lives near the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains with her husband and three rescue dogs.
