Popular Christian fiction author Joan Wolf was born in Bronx, New York. When she was a child she enjoyed reading books about horses and baseball. She graduated from college and went on to become a high school English teacher. She “retired” from that job to raise her family. It was during those years of mothering small children that she wrote her first book, longhand, at the kitchen table. She has written in over forty-five books, most of which are historical in nature.
When she’s not writing she enjoys long walks with her dogs and volunteers her time at her church’s food pantry. As she grew up in the Bronx, she is a fanatic Yankees fan.
