Jane Porter

Jane Porter was born in Visalia, California in the heart of the Central Valley and remains a small town girl at heart even though she has travelled extensively. Her family spent a year in Europe when she was 13 and the travel bug hit her hard. She studied abroad in high school and college visiting South Africa, Japan and Ireland. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in American Studies. After working for a few years, she returned to school and earned her Masters in Writing from the University of San Francisco. She published her first novel in 2000 and has been prolific ever since, writing over 20 novels since then.

She lives in Seattle with her three sons.
