Nurse of All Work
Did love always bring only sorrow and pain?

After the death of her fiancé, a racing driver, in an accident, Sue Nightingale found herself the target of hurtful criticism and gossip. It was whispered that, by jilting him and sending him broken-hearted to his death, Sue was responsible for the tragedy. But not even to justify herself in other people's eyes would Sue would reveal the truth -- that Johnny had jilted her, for another woman. Out of loyalty to Johnny's memory, Sue couldn't explain the real circumstances surrounding his tragic death.

As a result, she became ostracized by both her friends and fellow workers. Shunned -- or so she imagined -- by her workmates at the factory where she was the senior industrial nurse, Sue found that her only friend was the new Welfare Officer, Glen Fraser. Her gratitude to him soon turned into love, and she almost forgot the misunderstanding. But then she found there was an insuperable barrier between them, when she learned she was once again one side of a love triangle.
