Doctor Ross Arncliff had warned Tessa very strongly that her friendship with Mike Shaw would bring her nothing but trouble. She understood better when she realized that it was Mike's brother who had caused the death of Dr. Arncliff's wife - but she still didn't see why he should dictate to her where her friends were concerned.
