The child of Morgawse, witch-sister to the King, Mordred desired nothing more than to stand proudly at Arthur's side. Possessed of Roman learning and skilled in Pictish magic, Mordred shunned the scholarly path to practice with pike, sword, and bow, in preparation for the day he might enter his Uncle's service--and take his rightful place as loyal Knight of Camelot.
