Emma Holly was born in New Jersey in 1961. She then moved to Baltimore where she was raised. As a child, her fantasy was to be Batman’s fiancée. She always wanted to be a writer and after a decade of writing, she sold her first novel in 1998. This American author has written over twenty books and writes primarily erotica romance fiction, with a genre focus on BDSM stories. She was a Romance Writers of America 2004 RITA award finalist for Best Paranormal Romance. She has written over twenty books and resides in Minnesota. She believes that some of the best inventions include coffee, chocolate and bicycle shorts for men.
