Elizabeth Lowell

Elizabeth Lowell began her writing career as Ann Maxwell in 1975 with her science fiction novel, “Change”. She has gone on to pen nine more science fiction novels, seven of which have been nominated for awards. In 1985 she entered the crime novel scene under the pen name A.E. Maxwell. She and her husband, Evan, have co-authored bestselling suspense novels such as “Shadow and Silk”. 1982, this busy author began publishing award-winning romances under the pseudonym, Elizabeth Lowell.

Elizabeth Lowell lives in the San Juan Islands with Evan. They have been married for over 40 years. She spends her free time hiking, salmon fishing, cooking, gardening and spending time on the family boat.
