Comment: The backcover synopsis is really just a teaser. What it fails to mention is that Aurelia suffered burns that required skin grafts when she was a teenager. All these years later, she believes she is still badly scarred and fears and imagines rejection. As ever, Dixie Browning delivers a beautiful, well-written story, never wasting space on purple prose. She has only written 7 special edition titles and that's our loss... With the additional pages, she truly puts flesh on her characters and adds even greater veracity to their story.
