I found this to be a delightful light read. It is truly about forgiveness and working things out even when you don't understand what may have gone wrong in the first place. Once you decide to forgive and let the bad go, things do start to turn around. This was definitely the message for me.

I don't know if it was so much Olivia's story even though she was in a good portion of the book. She was one of the four different people in the book that had some things to work out. This book did not drag you down and there was humor as well as tears.

I had not read a book by Debbie Macomber in quite some time, but in my little bookstore, I can't seem to keep her on the shelf. So in order to keep current with my customers, I read the first in the series. I can see why my customers like her so much. The sex is at a minimum and there is a distinct message to the books. For the most part here is Daytona, my customers are on the mature side so this author definitely fits the bill. I like to be able to recommend books that I have read personally so now I can say without a worry that these books are not trash, but uplifting and great stories.

I am giving this 4.5 out of 5 stars and hope to read more soon.
